Urge Congress to Connect Diseases with Causes

The information below came directly from the Breast Cancer Fund Newsletter. Help them help you...read below and take action!

125 million Americans live with some form of chronic disease, 3 million with breast cancer. Science points to our increased exposure to toxic chemicals as a contributing factor. Yet there is no nationwide system to track chemical exposures and link them to rates of breast cancer and other diseases.

Senator Hillary Clinton and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi have introduced The Coordinated Environmental Public Health Network Act of 2007 to meet this urgent need.

Their bills would expand what we know about disease rates, the pollution levels in people, exposure to toxic chemicals and how they’re all connected—and to respond so we can prevent breast cancer and other diseases in the future.

Ask your legislators to support the Coordinated Environmental Public Health Network Act »

Yes we need to know the causes of cancer...my mother recently died from cancer within 3 months of diagnosis...first we were told it was cancer of the pancreas then they changed the diagnosis to gall bladder cancer...the doctors had no idea about the very rare and deadly billory cancers...there's hardly any treatment options and success rates are so low! it's so raw with me right now that I see cancer as a modern-day plague...

I work as an Indoor Air Coordinatore in Florida and see more and more asthma cases every week I am a firm believer that environment is the cause for many health problems. I don't know why it seems like a far fetched concept. We are so used to giving a pill after the fact that preventative medicine is still in the pupa stage.

Sorry to barge in on you. I thought you might find the information in my blog helpful. Ask The Car Dr. is an interactive blog designed for those of us who are driving and maintaining older vehicles as well as those with an interest in Hybrids and newer fuel cell technology. My last Volvo 740GL had over 360,000 mile on it before the time came to replace it. Quite honestly the car still was reliable enough to keep driving but my 140lb dog had his way with tan the interior and we were ready for a change. Knowledge is power and the tips in my blog could save you money if paid attention to. This is a new blog moderated by a former professional mechanic who is now a musician. Thanks for reading.

Your war in Iraq is an unconscious spending. And your soldiers there are being exposed to the things that can cause cancer.
